Review Encouragement Program

After a survey is completed, we follow up with a thank-you email. In this email, we can also encourage your homeowners to leave reviews or interact with you on Facebook and Google.

Here is how that email looks:

This makes it extremely easy for your homeowner to leave a review on Facebook and Google. When the button is clicked, the user is taken directly to the ‘rate and review’ page for your company:

A few things need to be set up to take advantage of this program, included in your membership.

Opt Into Star Reviews

Hover over Marketing in the top menu and select Profile. In the section titled “Reviews and Customer Feedback”, select “Ask for and publish reviews”.

Connect to Google

To ask for Google reviews, provide the Google Places review link for your company within the social media section of your account. Follow the instructions below to get your Google link set up.

Click here to look up your company’s review page. Create a link using the PlaceID Lookup Tool:

  1. Use the PlaceID Lookup Tool on the map.
  2. Enter your business name in the “Enter a location” field at the top of the map.
  3. Click your business name in the list that appears.
  4. Copy your Place ID (the long number code), which you’ll see beneath your business name.
  5. Add your Place ID to the following URL to create your link:  https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=<place_id>

Return to your GuildQuality account and follow the instructions to add the URL and activate the review encouragement program:

  1. In GuildQuality, hover over Marketing and select Social Media.
  2. On the Social Media page, paste your Google Review URL.
  3. Click “Save Changes” in the bottom right corner.

Connect to Facebook

To ask for Facebook reviews, provide the Facebook link for your company within the social media section of your account. Follow the instructions below to get your Facebook link set up.

  • In GuildQuality, hover over Marketing and select Social Media.
  • On the Social Media page, paste your Facebook URL.
  • Click “Save Changes” in the bottom right corner.

You do not have to have both Facebook and Google connected for this to work – one or the other will still activate the program.

Terms of Service

Google recently updated their terms of service, and no longer allow the selective solicitation of only positive reviews. Here’s the new policy from Google:

“Don’t discourage or prohibit negative reviews or selectively solicit positive reviews from customers.”

If you would like to opt out of the review encouragement program, delete the Google Reviews link from the Social Media section.
